This wide concrete trail begins at Manitou Drive and runs along the right bank of Hunting Bayou to a crossing of Wallisville Road at the Oates Road traffic signal. The trail continues southeast to a short unpaved segment under US 90. The trail returns to concrete on the south side of the US 90 underpass and ends at the Hunting Bayou Hike and Bike Trail.

The trail is well landscaped and maintained to Houston Parks Board standards.
