This trail starts off Paddock Road and follows the access road into Muckross State Park. It follows the road until it reaches the old headquarters building, then turns right onto a singletrack. It ascends the hill over switchbacks, then turns left at the pond view spur. From here, the trail extends outside the boundaries of Muckross State Park into private property. Continue following the mowed path out to Route 143. Crossing the road will drop you off in Hartness Park.
