Steady wooded climb opens up to a meadow, then drop into the woods again for a short downhill to the lake.

Leave the spacious parking lot at the Rubble Creek trailhead and follow the gentle climb through the woods which turns into steep switchbacks. At your first trail junction, take a left. Follow signs to the Taylor Meadows Trail.

Stay straight past the Taylor Meadows campground and you'll keep climbing until you reach a beautiful meadow with views of Black Tusk. Stay right at the junction with Black Tusk to head to Garibaldi Lake. Pop down to the lake and run along the shore for great views before doubling back up a short portion of the trail and take the left fork back up from the trail. Its now a straight shot back down to the car on the Garibaldi Lake Trail, passing two more smaller lakes on your way.
