Description

This trail starts from the trailhead on Forest Service Road 9A (Old Deer Hill Road). It travels eastward, following Old Deer Hill Road) past another Forest Service gate. After passing beyond the gate, you'll be on private property. Please respect the landowners, by staying on the trail. In roughly another 0.1 miles, there'll be a split in the trail. Continuing straight (along Old Deer Hill Road), will take you past the Harndon Hill Cemetery (on the left). Eventually, the trail will re-enter the White Mountain National Forest. The trail continues to ascend towards Harndon Hill and then turns right. It passes over the top of Horseshoe Pond Trail (on the left) and continues to Mine Loop Trail (on the right). It descends past some excellent views, then turns right (below Lord's Hill). The trail travels below Lord's Hill, then climbs up to Pine Hill. As the trail descends from Pine Hill and exits the White Mountain National Forest, it passes by a view of Baldface. Here, the trail follows parts of an overgrown snowmobile trail (possibly ITS 80). It descends to a large cellarhole, then turns right. It travels along the edge of the White Mountain National Forest until it comes back to the split in the trail.
