There isn't anywhere (along this stretch) where camping is permitted. There may be some options for stealth-camping, but that is up to every hiker's own discretion.

This section starts at Tibbs Bridge, on the Whitfield/ Murray County Line. Follow Tibbs Bridge Road to Greeson Bend Road. The trail turns left (onto Greeson Bend Road) and follows this to Callie Jones Road. Turn right (onto Callie Jones Road) and follow this to Highway 52. At Highway 52, turn right and follow this to the power plant. Look for the blue blazes at a gated path (at the edge of the field). Turn left (into the field), and follow the mowed path to the power plant.

The trail turns right and follows Highway 225, then turns left (at Highway 52). Travel for approximately 0.1 miles, then take the dirt road (on the left). This is about the only part of this section that actually travels along trail (instead of road-running). The trail travels through the Chief Vann House Historic Site to the Springplace Mission Parking. Follow Highway 52 to Ellijay Road, then take Ellijay Road.

Turn off Ellijay Road onto Elm Street. Elm Street merges onto Spring Place Smyrna Road and follows this to Smyrna Church Road. Here, the trail turns left, then right (onto Smyrna Ramhurst Road). Follow this road until you reach Highway 411, at Ramhurst.

Flora: Small-flowered Cranesbill, Pinkladies, Carolina Cranesbill.
Fauna: Kingfisher, Turtles.
