It crosses over Forest Service Road 553, then reaches the Shoal Creek Church Spur (in a short distance). The trail winds its way up to the south shores of Coleman Lake, then turns left. It winds its way along the western shore, then turns left again. The trail passes by a small connector (to the Campground), then winds its way all the way up to Choccolocco Dam.
