Description

Everyone must park at the Agate Beach County Park parking lot and run to the trailhead that is on private land. Mackaye Harbor Road becomes a private road, and a well-placed sign directs runners to the trailhead. Trail is covered in trees until one turns left at one of the forks to start running along the cliffs, with the Treaty of 1908 Marker on the east and distant views of San Juan Island and Vancouver Island on the west. One can turn around at the warning light for ships on the westernmost rocks.
