Little Heaven Warden Cabin is used for Parks Canada maintenance and other work. It is one of several backcountry warden cabins that have been around for a century or so--a working precious piece of history. The cabin and out buildings are for maintenance work, and not open to the public.
Description
As Glacier Pass Trail bends right just north of Little Heaven trail camp, an unmarked trail goes straight ahead (when running Glacier Pass Trail from the east). This unmarked, very short trail leads directly to the Little Heaven warden camp which is visible almost immediately. It is an easy uphill run to arrive at the warden cabin.
Flora & Fauna
Mixed fir forest and willows. Open grassy areas around the buildings.
