The road leading to the trailhead is difficult to access.
Description
This trail travels moderately for the first three miles, then becomes considerably steeper. Once you emerge over the tree tops, the trail turns to a climb up scree slope.
Shortly, before the summit, there's a small spring (this is the last water source before reaching the summit). Just before reaching the summit, you'll see the severed rooftop of the Firewarden's Tower (the rest of the tower is beyond the summit).
