Need to Know

The paved trail and stairs can be slippery when wet as they are covered in algae. The coral formations along the coast are extremely sharp, sturdy rubber soled shoes are recommended.

Description

The trail starts by following closed off vehicle access to what appears to be a former parking area. From this area the stair descent begins, taking you over the side of the cliff. The descent is easier than other over the cliff trails in the area because it almost exclusively follows a set of concrete stairs through the jungle (there may be 1000, I didn't count!).

At 0.3 miles the trail flattens out and opens onto vegetation covered coral formations that take you to the jagged coastline where you can witness large waves crashing against the rocks.

Flora & Fauna

Palm trees, ferns, wildflowers, geckos, skinks, chameleons, hermit crabs, occasionally wild pigs
