Need to Know
There is a large amount of sharp coral throughout this trail. Sturdy, rubber soled hiking shoes are recommended.
Description
The first 0.5 miles is a flat, easy hike through the forest on a dirt trail. The next 0.4 miles are an aggressive descent down the cliff, starting with a rope assisted 10 foot drop down a rock face. Just above this drop you can sneak a view of the coast line you are hiking to at the bottom of the cliff.
The face of the cliff can be slippery after a rain, and requires a good pair of rubber soled hiking shoes as there is a large amount of sharp coral. The last 0.3 miles is relatively flat, but takes you over sharp coral formations, allowing views of inlets, tidal pools, and waves crashing against the coast.
Flora & Fauna
Palm trees, ferns, wildflowers, geckos, skinks, chameleons, hermit crabs, occasionally wild pigs
