One of the few trails accessible directly from Salento, providing some great views of the surrounding countryside.

Taking the last right off of Carrera 6 before the stairs begin to climb to the Mirador, the road quickly becomes gravel. Follow this for about 1 mile.

On the left will be a road with a very well done concrete job. It'll have a sign saying that it was a route Simon Bolivar took. Use the Trail Run Project mobile app to ensure you take the right one. This road eventually becomes just a dirt road then the Inicio Trail, like most of the other trails out of Salento.

Simply follow this trail. You'll get some good views of the surrounding countryside. Continue until you exit a gate and hit a gravel road. Take a right here to loop back to town. You could take a left as well and connect with another road to hit the main road to Cocora, if you wanted a longer option.
