Access is only granted the first weekends of June, July, August, September and on President's Day Weekend in February. If you are here other than those times, you are trespassing.

No restroom access at trailhead or anywhere on the trail.

Description

Charles Mound is the highest natural point in Illinois at 1,235 feet above sea level.

Please note that it is located on private property. Public access is limited to the first weekends of June, July, August, and September. There is no fee to enter on these weekends.
