This trail is accessible at many points, and connects to many different trails going in all directions. It is more of a backbone route that you would use to access different areas rather than a trail to be used for its own sake. The entire route has endless views in all directions from multiple perspectives. It is a wide path, suited for ATVs, jeeps, and more, but it makes for some good running too. There is even a lake along the route, Horse Lake. It isn't all that special, but it is a unique feature in this area. Lakes aren't all that easy to come by in these mountains. I wouldn't recommend swimming in the lake since it is a feature for livestock.
