Rocky Point is a real nice campground with sites open all year long.
Description
This trail connects two Corps of Engineer campgrounds with trailheads at Rocky Point and Piney Bay campgrounds. The trail appears to be well maintained and well-marked with yellow paint. The trail winds through a pine and mixed hardwood forest. There are a few small hills and 1 possible wet spot after it rains.
Flora & Fauna
I seen some birds and a small group of deer. I'm sure that there are wildflowers in the spring
