Starting at the large parking area, head toward the shelter house and play area. Just past the restroom is a trail leading uphill. The trail then wraps around end of a ridgetop where the rocks are exposed. Some enormous boulders have separated and create unique passageways that intersect at sharp angles. Eventually the trail crosses over the ridgeline and wraps around the ridgetop on the other side where more rock shelves and boulders can be admired. The trail has some improvements (boardwalks and steps) to make it more manageable, but it can be steep at times.
