Description

Starting out at the parking lot of the UCCS (University of Colorado Colorado Springs) Mountain Lion Fieldhouse, the Lori Cohen Memorial Trail is a wide singletrack trail that winds its way across the field and climbs through several switchbacks to the top of the ridge overlooking Pulpit Rock and the west side of Colorado Springs.

Once at the top, you can take a small diversion to a great view of Pikes Peak, then it's a fun descent down the east side ending at the UCCS Heller Center for Arts & Humanities.

From here, there are several trails you can choose to continue your tour of the Pulpit Rock open space.

The trail is singletrack without any major obstacles, it's rated intermediate due to the climbing and switchbacks.
