Do not use the low water crossing on the north end when water covers the trail. Unexpected fast water flows can sweep you into deep water.

Description

This trail runs counter-clockwise around the basin. To complete the loop, there is a short low-elevation crossing on the north end which should not be used when water is flowing. The loop provides a detour for the White Oak Fairbanks to Hollister Segment during high-water events.
