Runner Notes

Wide path with no roots.

Description

The trail begins with a climb but then becomes more or less even. After the halfway point it starts to slowly descend. Even though the trail has quite a few turns, you won't get lost as there are signs at every intersection and maps from time to time. You'll pass by 3 lakes with a couple of viewpoints on them. It is very beautiful to walk on the trail in the fall because of the leaf colours.

Flora & Fauna

There are many birds in the parks such as woodpeckers, chickadees, herons and others. There is also a high population of deers in the park compared to other parks in the province.
