Description

This wide, unpaved trail begins on the George Bush Hike and Bike Trail about one half mile north of the parking lot. The section with a north-northeast heading is low-lying terrain that is poorly drained. It remains muddy for a considerable time after rains.

The section with an eastern heading is the old Noble Road and is better drained, though there are some low crossings.

According to the land survey prepared by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1955, original landowners along the trail include W.L. Noble et al, Tim Miles et al, Laura L. Krey et vir, W. C. J. Marquart Estate, W. A. Paddock et ux, Willene Compton, Callie Buhler and the Elijah Missionary Baptist Church.
