Parking, restrooms and drinking fountains are all available at the parking lots off of South Race Street and East Windsor Road.
Description
This path can be accessed from the
Hickman Wildflower Walk or from the parking lot off of East Windsor Road. This path is a big loop around restored grasslands. There are 16 large sculptures that can be viewed while on this path.
Flora & Fauna
Plants: White False (Wild) Indigo, Wild Bergamot, Spiderwort, Foxglove Beardtongue, Pale Purple Coneflower, Purple Coneflower, Big Bluestem / Turkey Foot, Yellow Coneflower, Rattlesnake Master, Prairie Dock, Indian Grass, Stiff Goldenrod
Other: deer, rabbits, bees.
Most of the flowers bloom during early July.
