Description

Trail starts on soft beat down pine needles into what would normally be a swampy area (there is a boardwalk for wet times) and then turns hard left onto a service road. The service road goes for a few miles. About 1.75 miles into the run there is a fork - stay to the left and continue to follow the red marking.

Around 2.65 miles into the run you'll come to a lake. There is the option to take a green trail around the lake which would add about 1 mile. Continuing onto the red trail it becomes less of a typical service road and more rough. Following this to just past 3 miles you'll come to another fork, this is where the trail is not marked the best. It shows the red trail continuing straight forward, but this is wrong.

Take a hard right by the bench and follow this rough trail back to where you'll cross highline pole construction and notice red trail markings again. It will loop you back to the first fork you came to on the service road and allow you to go back to the trailhead.
