Description

The majority of this trail weaves through open, high desert terrain. The back quarter or so goes over some rock rolls where some small cliffs can be seen. The Wildcat Mountain Trail connects after about half a mile, and the Ponderosa Loop connects right after the first mile in the clockwise direction.

Flora & Fauna

Tall grass, shrubs, and the occasional wildflower.

Entrance to the HRCA trail loops. This is at the junction of the trail that parallels Monarch Road and the entrance to the HRCA trails. You can still run on the trail paralleling the road.
