This run leaves from the main parking lot of the Kannally Ranch House & Gift Shop and is well signed from start to finish. Maps are available in the gift shop and some interpretive signs are posted along the trail.

When running the loop counter clock-wise there are four other trails that split off as the left side of a given fork. There is a wildlife observation blind about half of the way through the loop overlooking a watering hole.
