Ice Age Trail: Slinger Segment

On the west end of the trail, you can park on the side of Kettle View Ct. There is not any available parking on the west end. You can also park at Slinger Community Park.

This route is very exposed with little shade. It could be very hot during a warm sunny day

This is an easy mildly trafficked route that goes through the Town of Slinger. It mostly runs along the sides of roads and sidewalks with some brief sections of singletrack and paved trail. The trail starts as a singletrack sandwiched by a field. The trail meets with Howard Ave and then takes a right onto Hartford Ave and then a right onto James Street. From James Street, take a left onto Kettle Moraine Drive through downtown Slinger.

After running along Kettle Moraine Drive, take a right at Commerce Drive at Slinger Community Park. The trail continues as a paved trail after Commerce Drive ends. The trail goes by the Little Switzerland Ski Area and has a nice brief boardwalk section. The trail ends at Cedar Creek Rd, which is where the Cedar Lakes Segment begins.
