Starting from the north side on Folkway is paved pathway that transitions into compact limestone screening. There are sections of soil and mulch as well as wooden bridges and walkways. Challenging sections are uphill/downhill dirt sections with some roots.

There are also several branching paths that lead to nearby neighborhoods so if you end up on a residential area, you can backtrack and take the other path to continue on the trail.

Trail ends at Collegeway, there is a map at the Collegeway trailhead that shows the entire trail as well as nearby trails.
