Swift Creek Trailhead has a large parking area with a pit toilet.

Description

Starting from the parking lot, head past the trail sign down a slight drop down and on to the trail junction. The loop can be done in either direction, Taking the right hand or north of the two trails, you wander through spruce and hemlock. After less than a half mile, the trail enters an old logging road with Douglas firs and Ponderosa pines. You are on the road for about half mile. The trail that stays on the road heads to Smith Lake. The Swift Creek Loop heads left. The overlook is 0.2 mile after that junction. The 0.5 mile from the overlook back to the parking lot is ADA.
