From the gravel parking lot (with the kiosk) on the southeast corner of the reservoir, the Beginner Loop can be ridden/hiked clockwise or counter clockwise. When approaching this trail, you'll see the wider multi-use trail straight ahead with entrances/exits to the Beginner Loop on either side. Go left to run this loop counter clockwise or right to run it clockwise.
