Start at Sunset Park and head down the hill on the paved path. You'll run by a couple trailheads onto dirt singletrack into the Penn State Arboretum. Turn right at the bottom of the hill onto the packed slate gravel Bellefonte Rail Trail. This continues for four miles in one direction, passing by farms, going under highways, behind neighborhoods, and across a golf course. The four mile trail finishes in a long stretch through the woods. This can get fairly muddy--be warned. Once you reach the end, turn around and head back!
