Runner Notes

Not really a running trail, but you could.

Description

Namhansanseong is a UNESCO world heritage site just southeast of Seoul. It was used as a backup-capital palace due to its highly advantageous and defensible terrain. Today, you can run around the ancient fortress wall and see the old palace ground in the center. There are trails all over this mountain, all are extremely well marked. This track is just the southwest quarter of the overall wall trail, visiting the main palace, some of the old defensive structure, and a temple on the grounds. Parking is located at the start point. There is also ample public transportation to get here.
