There is not a parking lot but you can pull off on the side of the road, or park at the baseball field down the street next to Hofstetter School.
Description
This trail starting at the northeast corner of the city of Colville has no switchbacks. It's a steady climb that is steep at times. Besides the workout, you'll be rewarded with views of the South Colville Valley almost immediately. As you get higher you'll see Calispell Peak, Dominion Mountain, and 49 Degrees Ski Area in the distance.
Flora & Fauna
You'll see plenty of birds and usually some deer.
