Description

The trail is an alternate trail along the main NW section of trail. You'll run along the creek in some sections, under a tree canopy in other sections and in small prairies fields in other sections. It's a great outdoors experience in Wichita!

Flora & Fauna

Lots of deer, some opossums and armadillos and lots of birds, from song birds to large raptors. Bats are common in the summer.

There is a trail that goes over this way, but it's just a constant mud hole...good for frog watching though. :)

This section floods and the bridge has been here at least 15 years...its floated off it's original location and fallen apart a bit...but still can get you across the mudhole when you need it!
