This trail begins at some abandoned lime kilns and progresses counterclockwise around Belmont Mound. About a quarter mile into the loop you come to what looks to be a very old abandoned quarry with some large limestone cliffs. The remainder of the trail has many views of the limestone bluffs of Belmont Mound.
