Race starts in front of mountaineering hut "Zeleznicar" just of main road, 400 back from last bus stop.

This is shortest route on Fruska gora marathon, usually walked by most people in the marathon.

The trail is marked with a red heart in a white circle as the rest of the trails of Fruska gora marathon. There are 18 race courses in the event and all use Fruska gora marathon trails that are marked with a red heart in a white circle so it can be confusing for some people. On bigger crossroads, there are wooden signs on nearby trees.

Started as a hike marathon in may 1978. One of the oldest races of this kind in Europe. Throughout years trails and courses was changed and evolved.
Last few years number of participants went up to 11000. Mostly hikers with growing number of runners.
