A powerful trail to a tall, clean summit.

Russell Hobart

Features Birding · Views · Wildflowers

Need to Know

$3000 peso fee ($4) for entry.

Runner Notes

Steep, clean trail.

Description

When the Morro las Papas Trail takes a hard right to the summit, go left up the ridge. You power through 0.3 miles until the trail flattens a bit. The ridge soon sharpens and you continue relentlessly uphill. After one last difficult push, the trail rounds off to the summit.

Flora & Fauna

Hopefully some vizcachas (the Andean power bunny).
