Description
The trail is mostly flat and paved. The ruts sit up on a small hill, so there is some elevation change. The ruts themselves can be explored further, and another trail branches off to view more of what was once the Oregon Trail. Be on the lookout for prickly pear cactus and a variety of birds and small rodents.
