This trail begins with a gradual slope as it leaves the Festivus trail at its north end, although this does not last long. About a third of the way into this short trail, the grade of the descent increases into a very steep drop, making for a difficult run.

This challenge is only increased by the various obstacles and rough terrain along the path. While this trail provides a shortcut between the Festivus, Bestivus, and Pickall Trail, it is not an easy one in either direction and all runners should approach this path with caution.
