This trail provides a summit that is not too high (12,300') and is attainable in a day. The trail starts out well marked but after about a mile, the rest of the way is marked with cairns.
Once you make it past a gully, the trail will head along the side of an open hill. As you make your way, stay on the spine of the hill, veering right without going down, and you'll finally summit on El Manchón.
