The first loop built in the Barnes Canyon network.

Jon Prescott

Features -none-

Clover Creek Road is damaged from flooding. 4WD or high clearance 2WD recommended.

Description

Technically Lower and Upper Primer make up the first loop built in the Barnes Canyon network. Lower Primer is sandy in many places and grinds through some great scenery on its way to the teepee rocks. The Primer Loop is best followed counter clockwise from the trailhead, but Lower Primer is a great beginner route back to the trailhead if returning from a bigger run.
