Need to Know
There is a small parking fee at the beginning of the trail, approximately $2.00 US or 2,000 Korean Won (1,000 Won if driving a compact car). There are several restaurants and coffee shops at the beginning of the trail and a few stops along the trail that sell drinks and snacks. If only doing this exact route, it isn't necessary to carry too much hydration, however, if going off on one of the side trails, a reasonable amount of nourishment and hydration is recommended.
Runner Notes
This is a well-packed trail/access road and the footing is smooth. Just be aware of the occasional vehicle passing.
Description
This is an unpaved access trail/road for a historical gate system. It starts at the bottom of a small mountain ridge line and moves gently up to the top at an approximate average grade of 5%. There is a lot of space on the track, but it is best to keep right or left due to the very occasional vehicle passing. There are several scenic places to stop along the way and in total, beginning to end, this route is about 15 km.
There are also several true trail access points along the way, notably at the turnaround point of this route. Runners can move left or right along the ridgeline and will experience several steep climbs with a good amount of elevation and technical footing.
