Description

We started at the north side of the trail just behind the restrooms. It starts going downhill first. The trail was the perfect learning experience for my two boys. They loved learning about the wildfires and the woodsman that have to come through to chop down the burnt trees. It was a great distance for a evening outing with them.

Flora & Fauna

We saw chipmunks, several Stellar's Jays (they were so fun to watch chase each other around), and saw a woodpecker near the end of the trail.
