Description
The Eagle Bluff Trail is a 1.8 mile out-and-back run from the
Main Trail at the Rob and Melani Walton Preserve. It starts about 0.85 miles from the preserve trailhead. The trail follows along a ridge line to a roundabout with a view of the lake. Viewing is best during leaf-off, however visitors may also enjoy the fall colors in autumn and flowering dogwoods and redbuds in the spring. The trail is along an old access road that has a steady descent to the lake view and a steady uphill run back to the main trail.
Flora & Fauna
