Description
Tub Springs Draw Spur can be found on Rylander Fortress Cliff Trail, about a half mile south of the end of Rock Garden Trail. However, no trail sign marks the start of Tub Springs Draw Spur.
From Rylander Fortress Cliff Trail, Tub Springs Draw Spur heads southeast through the grasses and low vegetation of the flat rim top behind Fortress Cliff. Very soon, a steep drop in the trail is reached. Cliffs are to the left and right of the trail as it goes down a ramp (most likely built by humans to access the valley below from Rylander Fortress Cliff Trail) into a valley below. The ramp has a lot of loose dirt, pebbles, and rocks, so be careful going down it.
Upon reaching the valley bottom, Tub Springs Draw Spur veers left and heads north with the cliffs rising to the left (west) of the trail. Duck Pond Spur that leads to a tiny pond, is passed at about the 0.4 mile mark, but no trail sign marks it,
Tub Springs Draw Spur ends after 0.6 miles at the park boundary and a gate.
