Need to Know
There are restrooms located in the carpark. These are maintained by local council regularly.
The trail starts at the public carpark. Follow the bike path around to the right, and you'll find the starting point about 200 meters north.
The trail is a steady uphill climb on dirt, with several short sections of rock stairs and a few very small waterfalls (in the wet season).
It utilizes switchbacks to allow a comfortable uphill grade which passes in and out of local bush. At the top, you are met with an amazing view overlooking the airport, and on a clear day you can see out to Green Island.
To finish the run, return either way you came or you can choose to go down the Red or Green
Arrow routes or do the Blue Arrow loop.
Flora & Fauna
Native trees line the track, and its no uncommon to see local goannas, skinks, and scrub turkeys.
