Ridgeline Connector starts near the entrance to the park off of the Greenway Loop and across the street from the start of Mazeppa Tech. The trail enters the woods and climbs up through a series of switchbacks where it passes the trail kiosk after about 0.1 of a mile.

The trail continues to climb the ridge through a bike jump section. After the trail climbs to its highest point, it goes through a set of double switchbacks then enters a forest of densely packed young trees. After weaving through a maze of young saplings, the trail ends at the intersection with the GoPro Loop.
