Runner Notes

The path to the top is generally an easy run, but steep, and Skierfe is therefore a popular detour for people running or hiking along the King's Trail. It is a 7.5 km run and a climb of about +600 altitude meters (one-way) from the Aktse mountain hut.

Description

Skierfe is a mountain in the southeastern parts of Sarek National Park—one of Europe's last great wilderness situated in the most northern part of Sweden. Its western wall is almost vertical and goes down to Rapa River and the Laitaure delta. The mountain is 1,179m (3,868 ft.) high.

Skierfe is known for the spectacular view one can get from the top in good weather.
