Runner Notes

Watch out for mud pits. Watch out for snowmobilers, during the winter months.

Description

This trail descends southwest from the parking area off Forest Road 30. At the bottom of the road, the trail turns left past a gate. Here, the trail follows an old road that follows Lake Brook. The brook cascades over many rocks, making this an excellent place for pictures.

After the trail passes beyond the brook, it turns into a soupy mess. From here, the trail turns to Vermont soil... mud. The trail continues through grassy areas and patches of mud. It ends at the AT/ LT, near Griffith Lake.
