Exiting the Long Lake aid station, runners will then descend down Fish Creek Falls Trail to the parking lot, then turn around ascend back up to the Long Lake aid station. Runners are then taken on a 14 mile figure of eight route up and around Emerald Mountain before returning to Olympian Hall.

From here, runners begin a long ascent back up to Dry Lake aid station and then steep technical ascent on a different trail before returning to Bill Rabbit and then Summit Lake aid station.
