The trail starts off as a doubletrack road, but it eventually tapers off into a singletrack trail with some rocky spots. This route looked as though it hadn't been traveled in a while. There can be many downed trees that interrupt the trail.

The blazes on this trail are very limited. I saw only two. Though the trail does show up on the Cooper's Rock Park map, it is quite easy to get lost while on the trail, so keep your wits about you or keep an eye on the Trail Run Project mobile app.
