Overview

Join us for a unique 50-mile ultra marathon around the San Francisco Peaks above Flagstaff, Arizona. This race features a great mix of quad-busting steep climbs, singletrack trail, and forest roads through Northern Arizona's fall colors.

Description

The race begins with a climb to the top of the Arizona Snowbowl ski resort at 11,500 feet at dusk, making this Arizona's highest footrace. From here, you'll drop several thousand feet via ski runs to the Arizona Trail.

You'll wind through miles of aspen forests before reaching a network of Coconino County forest roads, making your way around the north side of the peaks past old cinder cones and through ponderosa pine forests.

Then it's back off-road utilizing an old route climbing 2,000 feet up to the San Francisco Peak's Inner Basin. Making your way from here down the gentle and wide Waterline dirt road, you'll cruise right into Schultz Tank just in time to jump back on the Weatherford Trail singletrack.

This follows the previous Sky Race course all the way back up the infamous power line section to the Arizona Snowbowl and your finish. Congratulations you've just ringed the entire San Francisco Peaks!
